Constructive Tool

 Constructive tool

In this article I will be talking about the constructive tool and how this tool can be implemented in the

teaching and learning. Constructing tool is building one’s own knowledge through the use of technology. We use the technologies to connect new information to the prior knowledge. For instance: learning about weather, we already have the concept about the weather, in addition to that, to enhance our learning on this topic, we use various technological tools. This  learning is student centered learning since the students are actively engaged. We use this tool to enhance what we already  know and help to think critically. Since we visualize and think while using the digital tools, it fosters critical thinking.  After knowing the benefits of using digital tools, you might wonder how can you integrate this in the teaching and learning. Well, we can use various tools such as publisher to present the lesson in an attractive way making learning fun and also the  construction of simulation lesson using ppt in teaching and learning process.  Some of the examples of the constructive tools are desktop publishing program, camtsia studio, word, spreadsheet & power point, google classroom.

In We learned in detail on how to create the concept map. This concept map is an effective tool which allows the users to brainstorm and visualize the information that shows the relationships between concepts and ideas. Let me take you through some of the steps on how to create the concept map.

STEPS ON HOW TO CREATE CMAP

  1. . Go to google and type Cmap cloud
  2.  Enter the sign in
  3. Click to create new account and fill up the address
  4. A link will be sent to your email, click the link and you have successfully created the account
  5. After that, log in to your Cmap, and you'll see the icon,  start building your maps
  6. Press that, in left hand side, press new Cmap
  7.  Double click on the middle of the page
  8. You'll see a arrow on top of the word you have typed, drag it and you will have your area to type.
  9. After you are done with your concept mapping
  10. On the left side, you'll see Export to JPEG, and this how you save your work.
Here is an example of concept mapping I have created on transportation.

Another type of constructive tool is the Camtasia Studio. Camtasia is a software suite, created and published by TechSmith, for creating and recording video tutorials and presentations via screencast, or via a direct recording plug-in to Microsoft PowerPoint. The sample is given below
